About Hopeforge

A private practice built on honest, human therapy.

Hopeforge Counseling is a solo private practice offering mental health and addiction therapy at the outpatient level. I see individuals and couples via secure telehealth, with plans to expand to in-person care as the practice grows.

The name — and the anvil-and-phoenix logo — say what I believe about change: it takes real work, a lot of heat, and someone in the room who won't flinch when it gets hard. Growth isn't gentle, but you don't have to do it alone.

Warm

Meeting you where you are, without judgment

Honest

Real feedback — not just what feels good

Challenging

Practicing new patterns between sessions

Steady

Consistent support through the hard middle

Services

Care that meets the moment you're in.

Outpatient telehealth for individuals and couples, plus the behind-the-scenes coordination that makes real progress possible.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one telehealth counseling for ages 11 and up. A private space to work through what's weighing on you — at your pace, with real accountability along the way.

  • Ages 11+ welcome
  • Telehealth (secure video)
  • Outpatient level of care

Couples Therapy

Counseling for couples 18+ who want to move past the same recurring loops. We slow the conversation down, name what's really happening, and build tools you can use between sessions.

  • Ages 18+
  • Communication & repair work
  • Practical between-session tools

Coordination of Care

Therapy rarely stands alone. I coordinate with your prescribers, primary care, probation or parole, and other providers so your care actually works together — not against itself.

  • Doctors & psychiatrists
  • Legal coordination when needed
  • Referrals & education as needed
Specialties

Areas of deep focus.

I have extensive experience across a wide range of mental health needs — including these four areas where I've done the most work.

Addiction

Substance use and behavioral addiction — the shame, the relapse cycles, the rebuilding.

OCD

Intrusive thoughts and compulsions treated with evidence-based, exposure-informed care.

Depression

From flat and stuck to functional and, eventually, alive again.

Anxiety

Panic, worry loops, avoidance — tools for the moment and work on the roots.

Approach & Experience

The hard work of becoming yourself.

I believe therapy works best when it's honest. I'll meet you with warmth and understanding — and I'll also ask you to practice, between sessions, the things we talk about together. Insight is the beginning; what you do with it is what changes your life.

Since 2014 I've worked with people across a wide range of cultures, economic backgrounds, and life circumstances. That range matters: it means I've seen how change actually happens — messily, unevenly, and always worth it.

Like the phoenix rising from the forge, the version of you on the other side of this work isn't a return to who you were. It's someone new.

Since 2014

Over a decade of clinical experience across diverse cultures, communities, and economic backgrounds.

Broad range

Extensive work across mental health and addiction — from mild anxiety to complex, co-occurring needs.

Legal coordination

Experience supporting clients through probation, parole programs, and court-related requirements.

Human-first

Understanding and accommodating when appropriate — challenging when growth requires it.
